That this book has a high chance of being great(strong creative team) but also has a high chance of being missed by most readers due to the lack of A list characters.

Half of readers will call it brilliant, the other half will remain confused.

What is expected:
Confusion.

That this book will fall into the corner of the DCU that is often forgotten, but still sells well enough to not be crushed underfoot.

Set in the Dark Ages of the DC Universe, a barbarian horde is massing to crush civilization. It’s fallen to Madame Xanadu and Jason Blood, the man with a monster inside him, to stand in their way – though the demon Etrigan has no interest in protecting anyone or anything other than himself! This book might not live up to the Grant Morrison expectations but will still come at us within a very quiet corner of the DCnU.

This is likely to be more of DnA's Heroes for Hire work rather than their spectacular cosmic marvel work.
