The top 11 tv shows that dawned in the last decade
Honorable(but not qualifying)Mention: Doctor Who(2005), technicly this is a continuation of the old series and therefore is very very old.
11. Dead Like Me
10.Torchwood
9.Dexter
8.Dollhouse
7.Supernatural
6. (Buffy the VAmpire slayer) The O.C.
Okay so Buffy would go here(pushing all of the above up a rank each, but it started in 1997 not in the new millennium and thus does not qualify. Barely.
5. Gilmore Girls
4.Angel
EDIT: It was pointed out that this show was released in 1999 not 2000, and therefore ineligible. So this spot is now for number 11, with everything else going up a rank, and the show is Jericho
3. Wonderfalls
2. Firefly
1. Pushing Daisies (Tear)
Other top ranks include
Battlestar Galactica
How I met your Mother
Chuck
Reaper
Lost
Prison Break
House
Arrested Development

The Boringist week of the year:2009
So because the last week of the year(christmas to new years day) is the slowest for most folks I'm going to set up my own mini film festival.
Every film shall be already released, with a few opitional Theatrical Releases. Your goal should be a film a day with at least two on New years eve and total of 9.
My personal list is more ambitious, I'm watching something like 17 movies.
V for Vendetta
The Departed
Up
Sunshine Cleaning
Corpse Bride
Terminator Salvation
The Fall
The Orphanage
2001 a space Odysey
Gladiator
District 9
Dirty Harry
Magnum Force
The Enforcer
Sudden impact
The Dead Pool
Optional Theatrical Films:
Sherlock Holmes
Up in the air

Update(or lack there of)
Okay so I just missed last sat. No biggie. Comic is the next post I'm doing and then I'm programing the rest of the month.
Reviews should resume in January. I should have a handful of things to at least talk about, if not review.
Friday night(Saturday morning) I'll have a review for Avatar. Saturday I'll have a review for whatever movie I see then. And then the week of New Years I shall have something for Sherlock Holmes.
